SeconBio Antibiotic Rapid Test Kit
SeconBio® Milk Safety Solutions — AccFast® Series
SeconBio® Antibiotic Rapid Test Kits
To ensure food safety at the highest level and maintain strict compliance with international regulatory standards, detecting veterinary drug residues across the raw milk supply chain is a critical necessity. SeconBio® provides next-generation rapid testing solutions based on immunochromatographic lateral flow technology, specifically engineered for raw milk reception points, collection centers, and receiving bay laboratories.
AccFast® Antibiotic Rapid Test kits operate on a competitive assay principle, where target drug residues within the milk sample compete for binding to gold-conjugated antibodies on a nitrocellulose (NC) membrane. This advanced biotechnology empowers dairy processing facilities to secure fast, objective, and visually verifiable results within minutes directly at the reception gate, completely eliminating dependencies on high-cost laboratory instrumentation or prolonged conventional incubation timeframes.
Advantages of AccFast® Lateral Flow Technology
- Rapid Field Analysis: The entire test protocol is completed directly at milk collection gates or next to the sample tank in just 7 to 10 minutes, allowing production clearance to be granted safely.
- Advanced Sensitivity (LOD): Limits of detection are fully aligned with European Union (EU) and international food code Maximum Residue Limits (MRL) standards.
- Multi-Target Residual Screening: A single test strip or cassette allows simultaneous screening of 2, 3, 4, or up to 5 distinct antibiotic families (such as Beta-lactams, Tetracyclines, Cephalosporins, and Sulfonamides) from a single milk sample.
- Convenient Visual Interpretation: Test results are directly evaluated using a standard color chart based on the contrast between the control line (C line) and test line (T line) on the nitrocellulose membrane, removing any mandatory hardware or equipment overhead.
- High Selectivity and Stability: The reactive formulation is resistant to natural impurities or cleaning chemicals commonly found in milk, keeping lot-to-lot variation to a minimum to ensure excellent reproducibility.

AccFast® Rapid Test Standard Operating Procedure
To maintain analytical precision, test kits must always be stored within a temperature range of 2–8 °C, kept away from direct sunlight, and protected from moisture.
| Stage | Operational SOP Step | Technical Instructions and Time Management |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 | Sample Dispensing and Mixing | Dispense exactly 200 µl of raw milk sample into the microwell using a pipette. Blend gently until the reagent block at the bottom of the well is completely dissolved. |
| Stage 2 | Pre-Incubation Cycle | Place the microwell containing the milk sample into the temperature-controlled incubator block. Allow it to pre-incubate at a steady 40 °C for exactly 2 minutes. |
| Stage 3 | Strip Activation | Following the 2-minute pre-incubation, insert the active AccFast® test strip vertically into the microwell. This initiates the migration of the fluid sample along the membrane layout via capillary action. |
| Stage 4 | Color Development and Chromatography | Leave the test setup inside the incubator block at 40 °C to complete its immunochromatographic color development for a precise duration of 5 minutes. |
| Stage 5 | Visual Interpretation | Remove the strip from the well. Immediately compare the developed T (test) and C (control) line contrasts against the standard color metric chart to interpret the outcome within seconds. |
